Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin – Ultimate Protection Combo

I was running the Ultimate Protection Combo on my 2017 Twin DCT and truly put them to the ringer. I put 20,000 miles on that bike in 19 months and thousands of off road miles and countless off’s. I was in Utah at the end of April 2019 exploring the San Rafael Swell Area with a group of friends. After a great morning of riding, we were riding a county road back to camp when the front tire decided to rapidly release its air. At 50 mph on a dirt county road, you can imagine what came next. Below are the pics of the aftermath once I collected myself. Now its important to consider that although the damage to the bike is extensive(totaled), The crash bars absolutely protected all major mechanical components. The bike high sided and flipped causing the majority of damage. I was able to make a few quick repairs and was back riding for the remainder of the trip. I now have the same system on my 2019 Twin Adventure Sport with the addition of the Upper crash bars now, and when I say system, I mean the SAME BARS I took off my totaled twin!!! The bars never bent and aside from powder coat missing, bolted perfectly onto my new bike. Buy this package if you are serious about protecting your investment. Suburban78
