High quality early Cylinder escapement movement by William Webster, Exchange Alley London. Made circa 1760, his father was acquainted with Thomas Tompion. Movement not working, it is nearly fully wound, balance is stiff but is not moving up or down so I think the pivots are ok. Will require restoration, high quality antique piece for the collector.
