Skid plates must be mounted to the Outback Motortek Crash bars, as a System. It will not mount separately. The Outback Motortek skid plate for Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin features many new changes. The engine became wider and so did our skid plate. We have now more to protect as the catalytic converter has been moved up front by Honda. In order to offer additional protection, we added side and frontal protection for this piece as well while keeping in mind that it needs proper cooling. Therefore, small vent holes have been added to our skid plate.
